Between the arrival of the first ‘Saxons’ in the 400s AD through to the 790s AD, a period of nearly 400 years the Saxons established themselves in the heart land of England.

This exhibition traces the growth of these invaders that became settlers and looks at their far reaching legacy to us today.

All done with the aid of mannequins, dioramas, actual Anglo-Saxon artefacts and electronic captions.
